To be eligible for YourPDX testing, your cancer patient must undergo a procedure (i.e. biopsy or resection surgery) to collect a fresh tissue specimen. This procedure is needed for laboratory tests routinely performed as part of standard-of-care treatment. Any tissue not required for other tests prioritized by the treating oncologist will be sent to the Certis laboratory. Treatment prescribed by the treating oncologist will continue uninterrupted. The YourPDX functional test requires no additional clinical visits, tests, or medical procedures beyond what the treating oncologist may recommend as part of the cancer patient’s treatment plan.
