Are You A Good Candidate for YourPDX™ Testing?

You’re in the driver’s seat.

Cancer patients and their families often feel overwhelmed and confused. Information overload can lead one down the path of least resistance — trying one therapy after another, hoping the next one will work. YourPDX™ Functional Precision Oncology empowers you and your oncologist with what we call Certis Oncology Intelligence™. It’s highly predictive therapeutic response data that can help inform clinical decision-making.1234

Predicting the Relative Efficacy of Multiple Treatment Options

YourPDX™ Functional Precision Oncology is an advanced approach to precision oncology. We use custom-developed orthotopic patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models of an individual’s cancer—living replicates of a person’s tumor in immunocompromised mice. These models function as the patient’s avatars in the laboratory, allowing us to simultaneously test multiple drugs or drug combinations to determine which of those tested therapies is effective for that individual.

Let's Start A Conversation

IT BELONGS TO YOU. CONSIDER DONATING YOUR TUMOR TISSUE.

Each year in the United States, hundreds of thousands of tumor biopsies or resection surgeries are performed. A small portion of tumor tissue is used to perform pathology studies, but the vast majority is discarded as biohazard waste. This is a travesty. There is so much science can learn from studying your tumor tissue. Consider donating your tumor tissue to Certis. In some cases, it may be used to create new tumor models to support cancer research.

YOURPDX TESTING REQUIRES FRESH TUMOR TISSUE. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CONTACT US PRIOR TO BIOPSY OR RESECTION SURGERY. YOURPDX IS A FUNCTIONAL TEST THAT MEASURES THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE IN PERSONALIZED PDX MODELS. TEST RESULTS ARE NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR MEDICAL ADVICE. TREATMENT DECISIONS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PATIENTS AND THEIR PHYSICIANS.
